Restorative Workflows Powered by iTero Lumina Technology
Event details
A digital impression captures abutment and arch information directly from the patients’ mouth and facilitates immediate examination of the preparation. This results in increased control and higher predictability with easy access to the manufacturing workflow. Given the pervasiveness of CAD/CAM technology in dental laboratories and significant differences in the digital and traditional design to fabrication methods, often scanner workflow, communication with lab and the fit accuracy of the digital restorations is an area that clinicians are keen to know more about. Through expert-led lectures, clinical case reviews, and hands-on sessions, participants will explore how to optimize digital workflows for edentulous patients— whether restoring with implant-supported prostheses or fabricating removable dentures.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate the use of iTero as a digital engine for restorative workflows, including its ability to minimize remakes and enhance the quality of scans and restorations.
- Review hybrid restorative techniques for complex edentulous cases.
- Formulate a plan to integrate the iTero Lumina™ scanner into removable prosthetic workflows.
